Business Development Associate

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

Support identification of B2B prospects in electrical safety, energy-tech, and power systems.

Conduct LinkedIn research, cold calls, follow-ups, and event-based lead generation.

Maintain and update the sales pipeline.

 

Client Engagement & Sales Support

Assist in initial client discussions and requirement gathering.

Support preparation of presentations, demos, proposals, and coordination of meetings/site visits.

 

Market Research & Intelligence

Track tenders, policy updates, and industry trends.

Compile competitor insights and share customer feedback internally.

 

Relationship Management Support

Assist in managing communication with EPCs, integrators, and industrial clients.

Ensure timely follow-ups and support brand presence at industry events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related fields (MBA/PGDM is a plus but not mandatory).
  • 1–2 years’ experience in hardware products, embedded systems, electrical engineering, or B2B sales or prior internships/academic projects preferred as well.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts simply.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner; adaptable to different sales scenarios.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, renewable energy, EV charging, or industrial automation (training provided).
  • Proficient in CRM and productivity tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and MS Office Suite; familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce is a bonus.
